International Traders Conference Barcelona : Day 2

Another super day here in Barcelona, a bit jaded after a few beers and even a Monticristo (thanks to Malcolm’s duty free buy) last night coupled with an early start. The day started with some live trading sessions until lunch with some of the pro’s and then after lunch back to the lectures. Afternoon started with Triffini Hammond from www.Triffx.com. She’s from Colorado and looks for consolidation on 4H charts – no indicators except a little bit of fib; nice and simple.  Next up was the stand in for Rob Booker (not an easy task for the charismatic trader), but Fred did a good job explaining the Vortex Trade (download free here)……a pivot based system trade from R3/S3 back to The Daily Pivot.  Chris Capre from www.2ndskies.com presented not his trade strategies but more the mental game of trading – useful; especially as he is from Buenos Aires a place a lived in for a couple of years. The graveyard shift went to Todd Gordon from www.forex.com who swears by Elliot Waves and Fibs; he also has an excellent appreciation of intra-market correlations. There is a yoga session on now which I should be taking part in as my back is killing me from these naff chairs.

I didn’t realise you were out there Jimmy. I hope you’re enjoying yourself. If Fred Nieto is out there as well then say hi to him.
    Enjoy yourself!
