Thursday 10th June – it's not been an easy week

It’s been one of those weeks where the sensible higher probability trades seem to be happening outside of my operating window, unless I glue myself to the screen all day, and that is not why I came into trading.

I have had just a 25% hit rate this week and traded just 2 out of the last 4 days…….no momentum on the European session to drive my setup’s to anything other than T1, Break even or in today’s case small losses on each of my 3 trades. Looking at the sideways movement on the 1H charts on most pairs, it’s not surprising Well that is the way it is….just need to get thru these periods with as little losses as possible so i can be ready for when the market is ready. Nothing I can do about it apart from not to get reckless, impatient, lose focus or a positive mental attitude.

Tomorrow I need to pack for my visit to South Africa and the 2010 World Cup and get ready for my daughters birthday….higher priorities than trading. So I will not be back in the hot-seat until June 22nd.

Good luck to all traders next week when in all likelihood there will be opportunities galor in the European window.
