Monday was a No Trading day due to the Easter break and expected low volumes. As it turned out once New York kicked in the were significant moves on the USD pairs; but nothing in the early morning.
Tuesday and Wednesday I was on a Trading Course, which was useful to pick up some new tips and meet other traders. On the trading side it was pretty dismal. Lesson learnt : Don’t trade other peoples trading ideas or accept group decisions on trading. I have to trade what I feel comfortable and confident with.
So it was nice to get back into the saddle at home and was treated to some nice breaks across the board at 07:15. Managed to get into just 2 of these as the moves occurred quickly and in unison. Using my Snapper strategy I yielded 1% on GBPUSD and 1% on GBPJPY. So very pleased to be finishing my actual trading at 07:30.
As I write this it like others could be in for a bumper sessions as the JPY and USD continue to be strong 90mins after the breaks occurred.
